For many years, an old friend of mine was a baker for Dunkinā Donuts. There aināt nothinā like a still-warm glazed chocolate twist. Donāt really care for donuts anymore, for some reasonā¦
But you burn more calories with all that extra chewing, not to mention the extra lifting of donut to mouth. It takes longer to eat, giving your system time to register you have eaten a donut, thus not wanting a 2nd donut. I see no flaw with his reasoning.
