I just got by in school. I just got by in college. Very lazy. B average student straight through both.
My boyfriend in high school could not believe that I would not read the book, go to English class, raise my hand, & still give the correct answers. In college my now husband was amazed that I wrote a book report on a book I had only read 3 chapters of – first, a random middle, and last and got a B on it.
Never studied. Either I know it instinctively or did not know it. Currently I have to take online courses to be allowed to prepare income taxes (which I have been doing since my teens when I worked for my dad). I take out the answer sheet, read the questions and answer as many as I can. I then search the the reading material for the answers to the rest of the question. If what I was reading applied to my clients I would read it, but I have 5 clients with terribly simply tax returns and over 95% of the material in the classes do not apply to them and the rest is straight forward – some of them don’t even itemize.
I am very diligent in the accounting/tax work I do. Clients are rarely if ever audited as returns are correct. But in school work – very lazy.
