Wow; does that bring back memories. We could only afford the required 16 pack (for school) but the cool/rich kids brought the 64 packs with the built in sharpener. I loved the metallic colors in them the best!

The Crayola company probably is the source most responsible for American’s color sense and naming…

I once was giving the 64 box on crayons before the built in sharpener. Almost too pretty to use.

I’ve never heard the phrase “spanky new.” I like it.

I remember the happy time before I tried to use the sharpener and it broke off inside the box. Happy seconds indeed.
