If I were making a salad and skipped the lettuce, I’d replace it with spinach, Swiss chard, and arugula (maybe even dandelion greens).

There’s salad and there’s healthy salad. The difference is in the dressing and the bacon bits.

That sounds like my kind of salad.

Salad with croutons, bacon bits, shredded cheese, creamy dressing is tasty!

The stereotype: children and old men don’t like vegetables!

Don’t forget the corn, mashed potatoes, and about a pound of steak with mushrooms.

I’ll add a big chopped beef steak, some mac & cheese, corn, and a good slice of pumpkin pie!

Iceberg lettuce and I don’t get along!

Finally tracked down the recipe for a salad dressing my father’s mother made; real simple, milk, vinegar, salt and sugar.

Salad isn’t filling! I’m with Earl!

Why does lettuce always taste so. . .so . . .GREEN????

…And substitute potatoes and meat for the other veggies.

I had salad for dinner last night! Mostly croutons and tomatoes.

Really just one big, round crouton covered with tomato sauce.

And cheese.

Fine, it was pizza. I ate a pizza.

Gravy with tomatoes, croutons and salad dressing sounds awful !

I love that you can now buy Olive Garden’s salad dressing at the grocery store. Now, it’s all I use.
