Mine crossed nearly 5 years ago. She still has a way of letting her presence known.

When my older daughter of blessed memory was 30, I knew where she was going – her plan was to meet a friend in Tennessee, the halfway point for them. Her car tires were fine for getting around town, but not the open road! When I questioned this plan she informed me it was fine … and that is when I dived into her business and said something to the effect of “if it is so frigging fine, I’ll go with you.” (I was at work. OY!) That is when she informed me it was safe and that she was not a child! She made it home alive and well, but admitted when she got caught in miles of torrential rain on the return trip that she was scared to death!

There will come a time when no one will be around to ask you that or even care.

I finally learned that a sweater is something I had to put on when my mother got cold.

She just wants to go along for the Entertainment value.
