I still give my wife of 28 years, the ‘girlfriend experience.’ If I am with her, she is not ‘allowed’ to open her own door(if I can help it). With me being a ‘work at home,’ and she goes off, it helps me to be able to pack surprises in her lunch, every now and then. And for the upcoming Valentine’s Day , as with a few in the past, she will be getting two sets of gifts. One label ed for my wife, and the other labeled for my ‘girlfriend.’

I can’t remember the number of times I’ve heard the lament: “S/he wasn’t like that when I married him/her.” But then, most people expect such impossible things from marriage. . .sorta like Christmas. . .it’ll be wonderful all the time. . .
