Top hats came in different heights, with several shorter than the stovepipe hat.
I bet the kids back then could throw better.
In the “olden days”, kids went outside to engage in physical play, and didn’t have cell phones to tap on …
need to adjust your aim, guys!
Linus, you juvenile delinquent, you.
“Bad show, lads!” We’re back in Dickensian England where those stovepipe hats made great targets. Have another go laddies! Foop!
Just make sure it’s not Scrooge walking by when you throw it.
What olden days?
Pip, pip….
Bad show AND bad aim, lads!
“Ere, hold on…it’s a ruddy topper!”
FUN FACT. I clerked for an attorney who lunched in a top hat, cape, and cane. In downtown San Diego! What a loon.
Linus – where is your blanket “slingshot” you used on Schroeder and Charlie Brown?
Of course, the men with the tall hats would beat the kids silly with their canes – when they could catch the kids.
Hey it’s the 20s again, time to bring back top hats!
