Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Although highly unlikely after one bomb went off, the other would remain in their car…..don’t really get it….obviously they weren’t detonated from afar, as they would KNOW when the cars were occupied….and the chances of being able to hook up two bombs with a timer, with the intended victims right there, and know exactly WHEN they would be in the vehicles the same time……no wonder Splitface fails all the time…..did the toxic chemicals dissolve half his brain, too? Lol…
Wonder if, instead of working on a money raising scheme (see yesterday), Splitface and Clybourne have an escape plan worked out? I’ll bet they forgot that little detail too…
1-CAPTAIN: Well, that’s that. Nice catching up with you Tracy and swapping old tales but this place is played out for us. Won’t be any opportunity to play curbside bellhop and swipe the luggage now. So, not if I see you first! See what I did there? I said the punchline forcing you to say the “See you around” set-up.
DT Ummm, yeah, always a step ahead of me Cap.
2-FIREMAN BILL: Hey Joe. Do you feel or see something ominous?
FIREMAN JOE: I sure do and whatever I see or feel is coming from over there!
DT: Let’s head home boys. (Yawn). Nothing else happening here tonight. PULL UP YOUR PANTS SAM! You’re not home yet…
My objection here is the storytelling technique. I know Mike likes to keep back important info, and then spring it on us, but we’re just now hearing that someone called in saying they were Haf-n-Haf and wanted to surrender!? Last week we were asking why Tracy thought H&H was at the Siam. In my opinion, a more logical, smooth way of presenting the story would have been to take one day, or even one panel, to show the phone call coming in. I mean, we saw Tracy and company calmly discussing H&H’s escape, while they were at HQ, with Tracy reaching for his coat and hat. No mention was made of any phone tip. Then we saw Tracy and Sam in the car, on the way to the Siam. Now, this. That’s a poor, choppy narrative style.
Tulza Tuzon wants to surrender? What bother going through that trouble to escape? Is he shopping around so to say for a better managed care facility? Heck of a way to go about it.
BTW, over on that social networking site, on the Dick Tracy Fan Club page, Mike said this late yesterday: “The whole team are happy that most all the Tracy readers like the current crossover. Next: A four way death trap!”

Good morning™, investigators!
So… it took a while for this information to come out, but Splitface lured both pairs of people by offering to surrender to both of them.
Today, you get a better look at the fireman’s hat and I still say they look nothing like Tracy’s.

Neil Wick 29 minutes agoYou guys have good imaginations. It isn’t even shaped like Tracy’s hat.

Today, no.
Yesterday, yes.
Neil, I can say you have no imagination but I wouldn’t dare be so petty!

Great art today, and a fine firming of the story!
