@Number Three Today’s strip is slightly funny, our Hero Mr Andrew Capp , sober again is not bothered by the Vicar being sarcastic , Andy is immune to it now :o) my avatar is a picture of our fav British actor as Mr Bean , wishing every one a nice day , how was yours? ours should be very busy but calm I hope , have fun pal.
I’ve been saying for years that the 11th Commandment should be “Never Underestimate the Power of Sarcasm!” It truly puts the first ten in a whole new perspective.
My day was fine. However it was a little hectic because when I switched on the kitchen light the bulb died and managed to trip the downstairs electrics.
I actually thought it was a power cut and was puzzled at how the upstairs electrics were still working. Haha.
Having said that, we used to have a toaster that knocked out the electrics every time it was pushed down. It was weird.

Hope it stays calm for you too, as well as being a nice one, Affie.

Jesus was sarcastic. (Start with Mark 7:9.)

To Andy, pool, dart, beer and such ARE good causes, so the vicar is partially correct from his point of view

And then the fight started.

My weapon of choice has always been sarcasm.
I also learned that if delivered with a smile, the subject often never knew I was being sarcastic.

That was a big “no comment” from Andy.

If Andy continues to stay away from the church his condition will improve.

Think of all the beer companies who rely on him!

Notice the Vicar in panel 2 is walking away with his head “up and locked.” It explains a lot.

Considering the job he does, a good Vicar needs a sense of humour.

Many a true word is spoken in jest.

The vicar clearly has a smirk on his face in the 2nd panel.

I was in church and they woke me up and told me to stop snoring.

Who knew that the Vicar was such a smart aleck?

Sarcasm; punching people in the face with words.

What is the episode where the vicar hugs Andy in the street and then Andy checks for his wallet?
