James Cameron sure made quite a movie.

Let’s see… 24 (at least) trips to the movie. Say half of those she dragged Roger along, and the other half, she stayed and watched it twice (requiring a second ticket), that’s 48 tickets at $5 per ticket (the average ticket price in 1998 was $4.69, so I rounded up), so $240.

I wonder, was it her non-edible food items that suffered from that expenditure, or was it the stuff the rest of them actually eat?

So, how many times did you watch Star Wars, Roger?

Didn’t she get on Jason’s case for the amount of times he saw Star Trek Generations

In the ‘80’s I met a Titanic survivor. She was a little girl when the liner sank. She & her Mother survived whereas her Father & brother did not. When Ballard found the “ship of dreams”. She was asked if there was anything she wanted from the wreck. Her response was “I want my bike back”…..

Cineplex? I didn’t know they lived in Canada.

The only movie I have seen multiple time at the theater is the first Toy Story. Twice at the regular theater and twice at the $1 theater and numerous times on VHS. My son loved the movie and was Woody for Halloween. I used to know it line by line.

I knew the ship sank, but the first time I saw the movie I hoped it would sink sooner.

Still a good movie, though a tad overwinded.

A snippet of one of my favorite parts:

…He walks on over to the First Mate.

He says, “Hey, first mate, what’s that you smokin’?”

He says, “That ain’t nothin’ but a little ol’ cigarette, Captain.”

‘N’ he says, “I don’t believe it. Gimme a puff.”

‘N’ he says, “Alright.”

So the Captain takes himself a little puff. Nothin’ happened right away.

He says, “It’s alright, it’s alright. It’s just a cigarette. I’m goin’ for a walk.” And that’s what he did, folks. He went for a walk. He went… He went out walkin’ around the boat. He went walkin’ toward the wheelhouse. He… He walked around.

He walked around the wheelhouse once… He walked… around the wheelhouse twice… On the third time around the wheelhouse… the First Mate he looked on over at the Captain ‘n’… ‘n’ he say… “You wan’ another toke, Captain?”

And the Captain, he say… “RIGHT!”

We now know where Jason got his obsessive behavior about STAR WARS.

Maybe she had a crush on Leonardo DiCaprio…

Just imagine how Titanic would have been if they had filmed alternate endings; Like Clue.

To be fair, this is why they will stay married until death do they part. They are two peas in a pod.

I was that way with the first Star Wars in 1977.

Actually, I see her point.Back in the days before VHS She’s doing (and remember, this comic IS a rerun) machines, before DVDs, we had to see films during their run. SO, I saw Star Wars: A New Hope twelve times in theaters. I was also addicted to the film “Phantom of the Paradise” and so my friend and I “chased” it from theater to theater, when it was re-released and double billed with Rocky Horror Picture Show. We worked out bus routes to each place and went every Saturday and Sunday. The North Hollywood Cinema, the NuArt, the Century, the Van Nuys Theater… all over the San Fernando Valley following that movie! She is just doing what we did. Remember, this comic IS a rerun from those days!

Time to get her the DVD so she won’t have to waste money at the cineplex?

He needs to take some wine, a pad, and charcoal pencil and draw her like one of those French girls.
