January 1905 – snowing again for a very short time, because of the Siberian cold wind;
March 1949 – heavy snowing for a very short time;
January 1962 – 50 years ago it was really snowing in Malta, 2-3 centimeters of snow covered most of the island, including the beaches, while temperature was under 0°C.
Today’s “Go Comics” strip coincides with the strip in today’s Daily Mirror. That’s unusual as they usually appear on Go Comics a week after their original publication in the UK’s Daily Mirror.
I’m trying not to get too excited (failing) because I made that mistake with the last temporary job I was offered last year at my local hospital and it “fell through” the day before I was supposed to start.
This one is supposed to last for at least 2 months. Possibly longer. Watch this space.
