If there are people coming into the donut shop every day after 9 AM and not able to find any donuts, that place needs better management.

Just get there before Mrs Olsen shows up.

Right now I’m posting this at 3:45 a.m. EST. Within this hour, it’s New Year’s Eve in every part of the world until 4 a.m.

Unless there’s a reason for it, Americans should learn how to spell ‘depot’. :)

Tomorrow the donut shop is most likely closed.

Around here today a number of people seem to be getting a head start on their planned resolutions. Our weather is grim but there are more walkers locally than we have seen in a long time.

I’d like to think there’s more to it, but I may have come up with this gag and seen it through just for the name, just to make a place called the Donut Depough exist somewhere.

Hey I got curious and wondered what the little earflaps were on the bigger earflaps on the kid’s hat. Here’s what google regurgitated:

Originally, the smaller flap could be lifted to expose an opening for the earcups of a radio headset. No longer worn by pilots, the modern versions are generally made without an ear opening, and the small flaps are vestigial, purposeless decorations.

Ha! Who knew…

We have an excellent doughnut shop that opens around six am, and closes at 1 “or whenever we run out.” They very seldom make it to the official closing time. Donut Depough must be another good place.
