Back in school already? All the schools here in South Carolina don’t crank back up until Monday. But then again, everyone will keep reminding me that this is a comic strip.
It seems like we ought to do something special with February 29, since it rolls around so much less often. Something heroic, something ambitious or something especially easy. And since we’re trying to sell it to a public that doesn’t see open to new heroics and new ambitions, we should probably start with that last one. The self-fulfilling prophecy is just a bonus.

It does seem that Leap Day would be a good choice for an additional holiday. Where do I sign?

As a landlord, I hate leap years: I get the same amount of rent and the tenants get another whole day!
Of course, I do get an extra day of coverage on my insurance…

Caulfield is being obtuse, Mr’s Olsen asked about his yesterday regardless of it being a holiday!

Caulfield spends every day exactly however he wants. Mostly he wants to mess around with Mrs. Olsen’s head.

School has a specific number of days they are in session every year which means that the extra day has already been added to his vacation time.
