I put the Christmas ham bone in a pot of bean soup w/onions and let it simmer for several hours. I make bone broth with the turkey back and neck and ribs and freeze it for later.

Even a bare ham bone makes a great soup stock.
A little ham would bait a mouse trap and we’d be rid of the little buggers.
