When I was a boy, decades ago, the list of supplies that pupils (NOT “students”) were supposed to come to school with always included a protractor. S’far as I remember, the protractor was never put to any use in any class, and it’s hard to imagine what it would be useful for.

I knew one person in college who’d compute angles when playing pool. It worked well for him. I’m sure the other players were only OK with it because it was an engineering college. I don’t think it would be a good idea in a local dive bar.

The fact that Monty even carries a protractor around speaks volumes.

And in the end… he still misses the shot.

Who knew Monty was such a cagey hustler? You may have to get some goons to break his thumbs, Moonie….
