Calvin, that’s the most fun you’ve had all week.

One downside though

C’mon Calvin. Make a ton of snowballs and fight back!

Snow is also a good place to hide the bodies of trouble-making clones.

Tigers have giant paws with claws for snow traction.

That would give me pause.

Bill evidently never head snow crunching. On winter maneuvers I could hear people crunching through the snow all the time.

We just got some heavy wet snow over night. Perfect for making snow balls and an army of snow men.

So much for Calvin’s enjoying winter!

Yes, but even the most inexperienced tracker can follow a trail in the snow. NOT good if you are trying to evade.

You can always tell when Hobbes is planning something…it’s when the orange slides down his forehead to just above his eyes….

That 2nd panel is brilliant! Watterson was [is] a genius.

Watterson has a sense of perspective (near vs far) that only an artist, or illustrator, can truly appreciate. The second from the last panel is a great example. It makes you feel like you’re actually there. Magnificent!

Bring on Calvin and the Snowmen

I don’t understand why everyone always thinks that every single strip is connected. Yes, some strips call back to older ones, but there isn’t a whole lot of continuity in this series, especially between the dailies and Sundays.

Dang! Hobbes really had some momentum to get that trench to go uphill!

Looks like Hobbes can distinguish the “real” Calvin from the duplicates.

Sad how they’re doing all these re-runs

Where I live at not had that kind of snow, our winter’s been very mild. Only a few times winter.

This may be Watterson’s best art work ever……….. the shadows coming over Calvin from Hobbes attack……… great!!!! ;-)

And yet another set of toque and gloves for Mom to replace.

My my… Bill sure knows how to depict speed!

I thought he was attacking the Calvin duplicates. :)
