I can honestly say I’ve never dressed up to see a movie. Although they did insist I wear pants.
When my son, my grandson and I went to see “Rise of Skywalker,” everyone was dressed in regular clothes. Guess we weren’t nerds (but then, I ’m not entirely convinced it was “Star Wars”).
Cliff is like the opposite of Yoda, Adoy.
I can’t help but notice that no one is wearing Sequel Trilogy costumes.
Not a Star Wars nerd, but, years ago, I ALMOST did get a Starfleet Uniform… the Red “Wrath of Khan” version…

An idea for a crossover movie; “The Rise of the Heaviside Layer”, in which Luke is reborn.
“Oh, wait! Now he’s dressed up like R2D2.”
“No, he’s just got his head stuck in a jar of Cheese Balls…”
If everybody does it, it doesn’t look weird.
Typically, I dress as a pretty ballerina when I go see a movie.
We’re seeing ‘1917’ tomorrow night.
Nobody wants to dress up like Dirk Raider. How sad!
