I used to have one of those when I was younger. The only downside was every time I drove it I would hear Dean Martin sing.

Well, look on the bright side, maybe it will run better than Grandma’s truck.

Those K Cars with the slant 6 engine ran forever.

The Volare was pre-K, but, post-T&A!

This is good, but these girls are a little too close to a stranger in an overcoat.

Ah, yes, the 1970s: When the philosophy of American car-building changed from its historical “Run for 3 years, then fall apart so they have to buy a new one – but look good doing it” to “Why are we spending money making them look good?”

And thus Agnes and Trout began their not-at-all-lucrative career in muling!

Quick, draw up a drivers licence, get in and pick up some guys.

Bought a 1982 Plymouth Reliant (K car) new. Biggest POS I ever owned. I called it Muttley. Got a bumper sticker for it: “0 to 60 in 15 minutes”. People still tailgated me. Go figure.
