I think Lucy did this to test CB’s gullibility for her own knowledge. She actually was hoping he wouldn’t fall for it.

I’d agree with her, only she litterally told him she was about to play an April Fools Day joke on him. That makes it so tremendously sad.

I had one planned for all of my students (I’m a HS/JH Band Director). BUT……… not going to happen now, thanks to COVID-19. :( :(
