COSTUMES OPEN This Week In Gym... Kill The Carrier
It’s not whether you win or lose…
Wow. In my school in the 70’s, we weren’t allowed to play kill the carrier. Too much concern of someone getting hurt. I can’t imagine a school today even allowing their students to THINK about playing it.
“Kill the carrier” must be another word for “dodgeball.” (Will Lio be suspended from school for carrying a scythe which would be considered a weapon?)
From UrbanDictionary.com:
“Kill the Carrier” is a childhood game of tag involving an object that is held by the “it” kid until he is tackled and forced to give it up.
Lio’s version of “Kill the Carrier”…
Dressed for the occasion, I see.
Shouldn’t that be “sink”?
Took me a minute to figure out what Kill the Carrier is. I remember calling it something else when I was a kid that is decidedly non-PC these days.
Always hated dodgeball- it was a favourite of the bullies and sadists.
Looks like Lio has terrified his playmates. Or maybe that was the idea.
When I first saw the sign “Kill the carrier” I thought this was a political cartoon about the coronavirus. Nope, just a kids game. Carry on.
Not sure Death would appreciate your taking his identity, Lio, but you be you….
Pretty sure the lawyers would have a field day with that game…
At least they put down mats on the gym floor for this exercise. Lio just adds spice to the mix!
We used to call it “smotch”. I don’t know why.
