Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your

Itâs good to go back but accept what happened, and move on. People learn, and grow, and maybe itâs a good thing youâre not that person you once wereâŠ
But, eventually, you will come to value the impermanence of existence. You will know that loss only means that what you got for nothing, and went back to nothing, was worth having for the time it existed, where permanence would make it worthless and commonplace.
Well, the ârosy glow of retrospectionâ should come with a warning: you will change your memory of something (cf. Superfrog, above), and that change is almost always an amelioration. A quirky, but perhaps understandable, part of human nature.
I know, I apologize. Itâs like when Homer Simpson complained about Ziggy: it was getting too preachy.
âAs Charlotte watched the headless turtle slowly creeping toward her, its giant johnson pointing at her autograph, she cursed the name of ⊠Frog Applauseâąâ
Wisely Teresa used a turtle, she knew an elephant wouldnât work. Elephants donât need to go back to remember. They remember everything, they never forget.
âLearn to forget the memories that cause you painâ (Moody Blues). Great idea but I think I need a teacher as I have not been able to learn that skill.

Iâll be long gone
By the time you make up your mind
Good luck with your past
But it wasnât built to last
Iâm gonna get up and make my life shine
Iâve made up my mind⊠to make my life shine

Baby it will always hurt, because the smash on my head with a cast iron skillet in our 7 11 store in the bread isle is a certain memory of mine.

âHurtâ isnât quite right. âDismay, chagrin, embarrassâ are closer.

Bullocks! Turtles are smart enough not to live in the past.

Pet regrets are especially painful.

Maybe so. But I favor the âno regretsâ school of thought. Forward, at all times! No looking back, which only causes regretsâŠ.

Tomorrow might find me at last,
Turning my back on the past.
But time will tell of stars that fell,
A million years ago.
Memories can never take you back,
Home, sweet, home.
You can never go home any more.

I left the cake out in the rain and will not ever have that recipe again.

One of the last times a turtle hung around here for too long, FA took an extended hiatus. No repeats on that, please.
