This is reminiscent of an ongoing plot line in a long running daytime series, in which one prominent family is routinely held up as paragons of virtue, while they routinely disrupt and derail other lives without seemingly realizing the consequences of or being held accountable for their actions. In turn, Satchel and Rob are seemingly portrayed as the stand up good guys here, while Bucky is perceived as some sort of bully. In reality, Bucky is simply personifying what the King Cole Trio suggested decades ago: Straighten Up And Fly Right. He sees their counter-productive behavior and is trying to get them to straighten up and fly right. True to form, those who don’t wish to be accountable tag him as a bully and dismiss him out of hand. A metaphor for our times indeed…..

Satchel doesn’t appreciate Bucky’s thinking “outside the box.”
