    Humming birds are the coolest birds on earth. I was once on a ship at sea, at least 300 miles from the nearest coast. Out of nowhere, at least sixty, maybe seventy humming birds landed on our ship. The deck crew was amazed, notified the captain. The captain told the cook to set out a pan of sugar water. They drank greedily. An hour later they were gone. I’ve no idea where they were headed but I do know they’re the world’s coolest birds.
