I grew up where there were summer rainstorms most afternoons for a month or so. Dry country otherwise, so we really enjoyed the rain. We raced around in the rain “dodging drops”. We built “shelters” from tarps and huddled under them. We dug holes and splashed around in the water/mud that collected. We skated off the concrete patio and into the puddles for the biggest splash. And, per Mom’s requirements, if it was thundering, we came inside. (It thundered with most of the storms, but not always first, and not always at all.)
I am with Ozy on this one. There is nothing wrong with enjoying the rain. And there is also nothing wrong with adapting to the weather by accepting that I am more comfortable with the appropriate clothing and wet weather gear.

When she gets home, she won’t have wet clothes although that tail looks like it holds quite a bit of water.
