I think that painting is an actual Jackson Pollock, but I don’t know which one.

News flash: Modern art IS all about commerce.

I wonder if Angry Dog is a reference or homage to David Lynch’s “Angriest Dog in the World” comic strip (Google it). Gilligan would likely be familiar with it.
