I have seen both birds and squirrels do this to taunt some cat that was watching them very, very closely. I didn’t believe that critters with brains that small would have a mean-streak in them. But who knew.
My little teddy bear village (think multi seasonal Christmas village with small bear figurines and toys instead of people) is preparing for “The Feast of the Awakening” which is held on the night of the first day of Spring – much eating as they (should) have been hibernating. It is the complement to the “Feast of the Hibernation” on December 21 when they eat too much also in preparation to hibernate – but they never do hibernate. (Okay, old couple no children – we are bit crazy.)

He should have faked a few slips and almost falls. The audience would be spellbound.

Nice form! Peekaboo would emulate it….after she and her “crew” ate Murphy!

I guess we should blame the groundhog for this spring virus.
