If this were the old TV show, it could be those guys are the henchmen of their latest adversary, “Chef Crook.” He commits food-themed crimes using food as a weapon (robbing all the rich guests at a gala event by serving a super-spicy dish that knocks them all out) but he always gets caught because he leaves clues — he doesn’t clean up his kitchen after he cooks.
And that isn’t any weirder than some of the bad guys they invented on that show.
