Off subject, but did anyone read today’s Hi and Lois? I swear the cop is Joe Cobb.

He’s staying back to be supportive and he seems more than happy with his binocs on the balcony. Not much will make her happy right now though. Been there (not in Africa though) and it’s so disappointing to spend a weekend away being sick.

That’s what happens when you go overseas.

Better than if they’d vacationed in China though.

Not sure where you could go on safari that would be a day’s drive from Kili… Arusha National Park maybe, but it’s pretty tame. The Serengeti is a day’s drive away … on Afrikan roads.

2003 – Al Qaeda figuratively shot down our trip to Kenya by threatening to do so literally. For our Christmas card photo we took a friend to the Denver Zoo and had us take a picture with their zebras (did get to Victoria Falls and South Africa – also on the itinerary – in 2010).

I catch something or other about every time I travel abroad. Never let it make me miss the sights! (Except that ONE time in India… )
