Petey never asked for a duet anyway, Alice.

Is that what that was? I thought a 4-year old was being tortured.

If you take a single verse of “Polly Wolly Doodle”, it fits perfectly , rhythmically, with what Alice is singing. All the way from off-stage to center stage.

The woodwind drool in the 2nd & 3rd panels is priceless.

Huh? Polly Wolly Doodle? Sounded like Old McDonald to me.

Petey is a serious musician. Alice is just doing a comic turn.

    Life isn’t fair.
