    Heh, when I was growing up, we used Mercurochrome for little cuts and injuries. Of course, it had mercury in it, so it’s not used in the US anymore.

    Heat resistant oven gloves would help.

    But I don’t think his client was expecting.

    I’d say there are three good reasons Bactine is still around.

    1. It works.

    2. It doesn’t sting.

    3. It doesn’t stain.

    I could use some of that perchance I could find it. I am always getting scrapes and cuts and not noticing until my dogs point them out. By then Bactine seemed to help most.
