California should rewrite the chorus of that Beach Boys tune: Little loose croup, you don’t know what I’ve got.

You know where there’s a lot of germs? Trash cans. Maybe we should ban those, and players who use them.

Masks don’t work. Baseball safety gear mostly does.

Santa Clara County and San Jose have cancelled/forbidden gatherings of 1,000 or more for the next 3 weeks. SJ Sharks to cancel or play 3 games in an empty arena. Local 2 and 4 year colleges to cancel games and either have early spring breaks or on-line instruction.

Many of the football ( soccer ) leagues in Europe have postponed matches for the moment

They’ve even canceled the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland!

Brings a whole new meaning to doctoring the ball.

Not to worry. Trump/Pence says the chances of infection are really low, the people who have it can go to work and they will probably get better, and it’ll all go away when the weather gets warmer.

And stay away from windmills.

There will likely be many sporting events cancelled, but we know from Li’l Donnie that it’s the safest thing in the WORLD to play golf while an epidemic rages. (If only Nero had had a putter instead of a fiddle……..)

We’ll never be safe from this stupid virus. How I hope and pray for a cure.
