Our Lab Alex, loved squeaking his till he discovered magic closet where we put all the new toys he bought for when he chewed up some of his favorite toys. He loved these little balls that were squeaky so once one was no longer making noises up to the closet he would go and bark that he needed a new one. However, he wouldn’t let us toss the floppy ones as he like to put them in his mouth and shake them, drop them at our feet to toss to him and do it again, till he decided he needed another toss. He was a hoot.

Rover is a very rich dog, indeed with at least six different squeaky toys!

My SIL the small animal vet has been known to do a squeaky-ectomy on the border collie’s toys.

A week and a half ago, in trying to figure where to go to be away from people, I thought of going to a Puget Sound beach on a spring low tide. Many beaches are beneath bluffs away from houses. The trick was to find access not blocked by closed parks. I found an access point. I wasn’t the only one there, but I could keep away from others.

At one point I heard a yellow lab suddenly do a painful constant whine bark while his owner was a few steps away. It seems he found a crab, and the crab clamped onto his muzzle. The owner rushed over to remove it, and then his other dog came for a look, and he had to keep that dog away from it as well. The panel with Rover’s squeaky crab reminded me of this.

One of our dogs is like that. And she’s like that right now. Time for walkies.

Sounds like someone wants to play or go for a walk outside.

Fun effect with the different fonts. I’m annoyed just imagining all the squeaks, lol
