why is Calvin’s side of the bed near the window anyway? in a Sunday strip, he creeped out the window in order to urinate so he won’t step foot out the bed so the monsters thereunder wouldn’t eat him
My uncle sometimes spent the night at our place, and the only free bed was the other twin in the room I slept in. He didn’t snore. HE SNORED!
He did say that if he woke me up with his snoring, I was welcome to waken him to get it to stop. Speaking to him didn’t work. Shaking him didn’t work. Pouring a little water on his face worked, but had secondary negative consequences: He flailed out and hit the half-full glass dumping it on me (and my bed) and for the jackpot, breaking it so there was broken glass on the floor. Mixed with water. In the dark. Both of us barefooted.
Did anyone else notice the position of Calvin’s bed seems to change a lot throughout the strip? Here, the window is to Calvin’s left, when in other strips the window is to Calvin’s right, and even then sometimes there is no window to his right, but a space and the door to the hallway!

Ouch. This arc is one of the most “real” arcs in the series, so it’s nice we get Hobbes to provide some comedic relief
