I’ve read of speculation that suggest Shakespeare didn’t actually write all his books & plays but that he used a ghost writer. Well, the secret is out now. His cat did his writing.
National Puppy Day. Don’t let the Ten Cats hear about that!
National Chip & Dip Day
National Chia Day
National Melba Toast Day. Another thing I’ve never tried. I’ve tried regular toast made with white or wheat bread, but never had Melba toast
National Near Miss Day. I looked this up to see what it means. Here’s part of what I found.
“From a national view, each day many of us face a near miss here and there. March 23rd commemorates the day the entire Earth faced a near miss when a massive asteroid (4581 Asclepius) nearly hit us in 1989. National Near Miss Day celebrates the day 4581 Asclepius flew right on by.
On March 22-23, 1989, a mountain-sized asteroid came within 500,000 miles of colliding with the earth. “On the cosmic scale of things, that was a close call,” said Dr. Henry Holt. Geophysicists estimate that a collision with Asclepius would release energy comparable to the explosion of a 600 megaton atomic bomb. A collision would have had catastrophic effects on our planet. Scientists discovered the asteroid on March 31, 1989 – nine days after its closest approach to Earth. "
Heading into LA this morning to pick up my young lady. Hope the traffic is nice to me. She ate a little yesterday morning, but was still running a fever. I have her room all set up for her, but I’m sure she won’t stay long. I’m not sure I can stand having her locked up. Dinah has been loving her ‘me’ time. Sometimes I wonder if she is so affectionate because she thinks she’ll disappear next!
To paraphrase Shakespeare, this comic, by any other name, would still be just as clever and funny. On another note, saw some robins while out walking today. It was raining, but fortunately, I had my umbrella.
I took trash to the dump today. On the way home, I saw a field with 7 or 8 wild turkeys walking around in it. I hope they know it is turkey season, and not be so out in the open.

If that’s a parody of a famous Shakespeare quote, this former English major is embarrassed to admit she doen’t know which quote.
