Not to mention it’s much cooler and comforting. It is getting warmer by the way.

well, that was comforting

All I can say is awwww! And I want my own dark and rainy cave to mope in.

I’m a claustrophile of sorts. Remember blanket forts? I also loved being under the bed. But “rainy” doesn’t sound very good.

Now that is a true friend. :)

Now make a big, dark rainy day for this sad, sad world.

I love the subtle change between the fifth and sixth panels, with the circle becoming a heart.

The world is in a sad, scary place right now, mostly because humans made it that way. Hopefully, we learn to be and do better, so this will be the last pandemic we have.

Marigold is such a great friend ♡.

Wish I had that option as I’m sure plenty of others do too

This is all too relatable in this day and age.

That sums up perfectly why this is my favorite strip.

I love Marigold’s expression in the last panel. She really does care about Phoebe.

Luckily, Marigold isn’t one of those annoying characters who is always talking about her youth. In this case, being a unicorn, she might very likely start out something like, “During the Black Plague years……”

I want my own unicorn

At least no one’s giving her a hard time for being outdoors.

Sometimes Marigold absolutely surprises me by breaking out of her “me, me, me” shell and showing what a wonderful, empathetic, unicorn she is inside.

Love the heart-shaped small dark rainy universe in the last panel.
