    My cats have gone after small spiders or just ignored them. I don’t think he needs the costumes. Anyway, those cats are so mellow, I don’t think the spider will pay any attention costumed or not & the cats will probably ignore it all.

    I have had 2 Labrador Retrievers catch flies in mid flight… It is an awesome sight watching their concentration and then the catch. One of the Labs was a repeat catcher.

    So, the spider will eat the cats? Nope, not a good idea even if you don’t like cats because you run out of cats and have a very large and fat spider to deal with.
