With the amount of homework some classes assigned, it sure felt like punishment.

I got bored in school because I did my homework

The only part of homework that I hated was memorizing bible and catechism verses. (Mizzouri Synod) Fortunately, the teachers always had us recite in alphabetical order and my last name starts with “S”, so by the time they got to me, I had it in temporary memory.

As in yesterday’s strip, she still looks too old. He must be in grade school if he hasn’t figured out what homework is for, and she could be a teacher.

Do they not take notes in class any longer at school…with the things I have heard about schools today nothing surprises me.
