Growing up Mom would ask the Mennonite farmer to chop off the heads and Mom took care of the rest. Removing feathers back then was not a fun job.
Of course Roscoe is an animal lover….She didn’t have to go into detail….LOL

For factory farmed chickens, how they live is worse than how they die, unfortunately.
Smothering a chicken in gravy is messy.. darn birds flap their wings.. best to do it outside, cleanup it much easier.

Once I had turtle soup (though they didn’t give me a golden spoon!), but it was like a very rich gravy – ughh.
Why is there “chicken” in dog food.? They dont normally eat chickens.
