My spouse and I each fold clothing. But after only a brief honeymoon (well, it was actually after the honeymoon, but you know what I mean), we agreed to each fold their own… because the only thing we agree on is how to fold towels. Well and the sheets except for the pocketed ones.

as I live by myself, there are times I’m unable to fold certain laundry items I just can’t seem to fold right (fitted sheets for example)

She’ll need to wash it again anyway, since it’s covered with dog hair.

A lady I once worked with tried to explain to me how to fold a fitted sheet. I tuned her out after the first few words.

Oribuku? Origami literally means “fold paper”. My suggestion would mean “fold clothes”.

I think Earl is just pretending to be incompetent just like Ray Barone did.

Everyone folds accordingly to their space. There’s no right and wrong.

With due respect to the late Kenny Rogers , may I say : Every husband knows that the secret to survin, is knowing how to hold them and knowing how to fold them.

I doubt her ask included a how. But after all this time she should have known that men take shortcuts when it comes to folding stuff.. actually, we take shortcuts pretty well wherever we can.

my husband had a certain way he folded his clothes before we met. when we went to the laundramat he had to one table all to himself and guarded it until the clothes came out of the dryer. eventually i got the knack of it and help him when the arthritis had disfigured his hands which made it difficult for him to do it himsellf..

Okay, it’s a stereotype, but I sometimes suspect my husband does things like this (except — loading the dishwasher) in such an inept way that I won’t ask him too often because “I can do it better myself,” and I will end up reloading the dishwasher. Fiendishly clever those husbands. Fortunately, this does not extend to vacuuming or hand-washing dishes.
