Amazing, isn’t it, how important WORKERS are to our well-being and economy. Don’t see many CEOs out there on the front lines. THANKS TO EVERYDAY HEROES!
It’s times like these that help us focus on who’s really important in or world. Thank you farmer, trucker, grocery man, nurse, doctor, fireman, janitor and housekeeper for keeping us fed, healthy, safe and clean.
Agree with Thaves on this one. What I pray is that the current good feeling and respect for stockers, nurses, caregivers, first responders, and helpers of all kinds will become the norm instead doing a fade to the old indifference when crisis ends. My prayers too for everyone of them and for those stricken.
I’ve thought similarly every time I see the commercials praising the healthcare workers, which is legit. But what about all the workers cleaning the rooms, hallways, emptying trash, doing the laundry, etc. Blessings and thanks to them, as well!
People also need to remember they don’t need to clear the shelves of everything in sight. They should shop like they normally did before the virus hit.

When I do go to a grocery store or pharmacy, I thank every one I deal with.

When I go to the grocery I buy a $20 gift card and give it to the checker. You can see the smile under the mask.
