A guitar player I once worked for was an alcoholic; drank a quart of Jim Beam each and every day. One afternoon he decided “Enough of this s***!”, put the cap on the bottle, and set it on his dresser.
When I met him 3 or 4 years later, that 1/3 bottle of swill was still on his dresser; I imagine it is to this day.
