Or maybe a smaller kite.

A parachute would be better.

what a strong wind (how much string? one million yards’ worth?)

I wanted to fly a kite, not for the kite to fly me.

My mate had a box kite. I only flew it once as it flew me several times.

At least it hasn’t met up with a kite-eating tree.

And speaking on behalf of people spectators on the ground, today would have been a good day for Ziggy to put on pants and underwear!

And BTW, for the kite to Ziggy altitude aspect he has to be almost as buoyant as the kite.

What he needs is Charlie Brown. This kite would come down quickly enough!
