There is nothing wrong with talking to yourself, nor is there anything wrong with answering yourself, but when you say something to yourself and then say, ‘what was that? I wasn’t listening’, that is a sign that you’re in trouble.

I tend to avoid talking to myself. I’m such a bore.

I told myself one time that I needed to quit drinking. But then I decided, why should I take advice from an old drunken fool.

I once got into an argument with myself and refused to speak to myself for three straight days.

It’s when you have an argument with yourself and you lose that you’re in trouble.

I tried to talk to Myself once, but it bothered Me. He felt excluded.

A coworker caught me thinking out-loud to myself and asked if I was talking to myself. I replied, yes I was, and it was rude of her to interrupt my conversation.

Now that I’m working from home, I find myself talking my way through my opening routine, "Open this program, click “Accept cookies”, User name (ticka, ticka) password (ticka, ticka) etc. So not only do I know what I am going to say before I hear it, I can tell you what I’m going to say first thing Monday morning.

Whoa… That’s heavy.

I don’t know till it happens. I’m not quite the conversationalist I once fancied myself.

I think.. the only time I talk to myself is when cursing after doing a boo-boo like hitting your thumb with a hammer.. or stubbing your toe.

I do hear it before I say it, but somehow it’s not real until I say it out loud.

It’s okay to talk to yourself.

It’s even okay to answer.

If you argue, we have a problem.

Then there’s the old joke where two ladies are working in a small office.

One keeps talking to herself, and finally says: Does it bother you when I talk to myself?

The second lady says: No, not…

And the first lady says: So who asked you?

I’ve surprised myself a couple of times.

My grandfather talked to himself a lot. When I asked him why, I replied " Because I like to talk to someone intelligent every now and then."
