There weren’t that many toothbrushes on the way up. What could It mean? Is It mean? Is It clowning around?

This is what happens if you don’t floss every day!! YOU WERE WARNED!

It looks like she’s following “it” down stairs. Focus, Dr. Amesworth, the mission!

Late to the gate – bei mir fällt der Großchen spät – Wally’s batting the toothbrush out of Alan’s hand is often typical cat behavior.

So, the toothbrushes have it in for the topsider? Wonder why they seem to be leaving the “mutants” alone…

Come to think of it, from a distance, maybe it was toothbrushes Wally saw assembling themselves into a “Transformer” – just not the toy.

She’s following Wally, who she needs in order to find the gate, so she is focused on the mission. Trouble seems likely to follow her, though.

The scary part is in panel 4, the toothbrushes are regrouping and standing upright to rebuild the toothbrush terror.

The ultimate question here is:

What happened in the dentist’s office that caused Aaron to paint toothbrushes as our newest worst nightmares?

Again, Aaron is an evil genius. (Not complaining)

Tooth Decay! Get Serious People!

Wally’s got a hole in his bag. Wait till she catches up with Wally as he becomes gingerbread Wally.

Better yet she finds out it’s her turn to brush the cat’s teeth. Wally is not going to let Alan do it.

This is a little too far-fetched…even for Endtown.

Maybe we are going to be in for some humour?

No human would stack toothbrushes like that.

Clean up your act or there’ll be more holes than in just your teeth…

Real life: I was walking my dog today (an awesome German shepherd) and on the sidewalk was … a TOOTHBRUSH!! I started laughing. Couldn’t help it.

This reminds me of the weeping angels in Doctor Who… the toothbrushes are inanimate objects if you look at them, but if you don’t look at them they form into the… construct… and follow you. Hostile? Not hostile? We don’t know yet. Certainly creepy, in any case.

She hopefully has good night vision! No dancing in the dark, I guess.

Awww… Toothbrushes. How can I stay mad at them for long?

Never thought I would grow to be terrified of toothbrushes. Creep factor has definitely moved up several notches.

Have a feeling the doctor will be taking her leave shortly.

Weird how they stood up like that, almost like a periscope, watching her… maybe they’re sensors of some kind (would explain Wally’s behavior). Or they’re how stick figure man is built.

Big Hero 6 kind of deal?

My guess : All inhabitants of this reality have been turned into toothbrushes.

Is it getting darker?

This is a very dramatic creepy build up, but I’m questioning if even Mr. Neathery can deliver a satisfying climax using only toothbrushes. Pencils maybe. But then again, Endtown has a way of proving everyone wrong. I hope it does. It probably will.
