I have known a few millionaires, and one very ornery billionaire. What I always found interesting is they all had things that had a line they would not cross. The billionaire would NEVER spend money on clothes that he thought was excessive. He always dressed in jeans and T-shirts. A good dress shirt from Sears and Roebuck, or Walmart was good enough. BUT there were other things that he was “Money Stupid” about, taking the first and newest – early adopter type of stuff. He lived in a orphanage until he was 10 and only had hand-me-downs. A woman friend of mine, she would wear well made garments, tasteful jewlery. BUT grocery shopping for her was budgeted and planned out. She had a spending allowance and ceiling for every month. I think that came from her upbrining, her parents had to do that, and she kept the trait.
Boy Scouts. Scout Camp is about as inexpensive as it gets. I admit it does not seem logical that they send Kenny to an expensive private school and balk at a summer camp that Marcy and Joe send their kids to.

I suspect she’s talking camp purchase price, not camp session costs.

If Kenny goes to Lake Pocono, Sunny’s little friend will get VERY jealous.
