Actually, you still get this service at Queen City Station (Formerly known as Tim’s Exxon) in Helena, MT. We always use to stop there when driving to visit family in the US (I’m in Alberta). The full service price is a little extra, but great when you’ve been on the road for a day. They would check the oil, tire pressure, wash windows inside and out, and do a quick vacuum of the floors. Haven’t been under the new ownership, but I understand they still offer the service.

You’ve time warped to the 1950’s, except there should be at least two and maybe three guys working the pumps.
