Over 95% of Earth’s water is in the salty oceans. If I were the all-powerful, miracle working, Creator of the universe, I would have designed things so that ocean water would be safe for drinking and irrigating crops. And while I was at it, I would have left out the tsunamis and hurricanes. Doesn’t seem like much thought was put into all of this. But then, it was a rush job.

An older cousin of mine told me that if AIDS had been around when he was a teen, he would have totally ignored the dangers. Not much has changed.

Not a beach person, although if my wife wants to take a walk on the beach, we do. Our new place has multiple Nature trails, so far they have sufficed.

at least they’re self-distancing while in their vehicles. only way people will take this seriously is if they themselves or someone they know / loves contract the virus after letting their guard down too quickly after self-sheltering.

That’s the reason why we didn’t take our bikes this weekend for a good workout. The roads were crowded with cars and motorbikes, drivers giddy with the feeling of freedom.

I went to a local park this weekend and had it almost to myself. Nice to get out again.

As long as they stay in their cars, they should be fine.

Our local park is big enough to allow for lots of distancing for the few who venture out in it.
