I have spent the past few days — well, portions of them — just watching the bumblebees at work. They are amazing, gentle creatures and don’t mind up close observation. And unlike honey bees, they are indigenous to this continent.

Too bee certain, they’re responsible for a good portion of the foods we consume.

Pesticides and murder hornets,oh my.

Are the birds resentful, too?

As a current YouTube “hostage”, I can tell you that bees have a growing audience share on that site.

Perhaps a “clapathon” could be organized to make them feel appreciated?

That “miracle of pollination” is really a byproduct of your dirty body tracking pollen from one flower to the next.

Dogs don’t sting you if you try to pet them.

More things I never knew before: As it turns out, there were honey bees in North America before 1622 after all.

If they’re resentful about the attention dogs get, they needn’t bee. They get plenty of attention when it comes to sex education, along with the birds.
