I don’t celebrate Halloween, but I thought kids hated getting apples. Was it different in the early 60s?

This strip and the previous days’ strips were adapted into “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”. I read somewhere that when Kathy Steinberg, who voiced Sally, recorded this part, her tooth fell out on the word “restitution”.
