Lisa, if you don’t want to see kids on phones go after the parents(or grandparents- like you) that buy them. Its not like the kids have the cash or credit to do it on their own. If you are making noise about them being in their own squares….we played 8 square as kids at that age. It was fun. I have faith in today’s kids to do as well or better than we did. They aren’t being raised by snowflake boomers.
What Lisa presents may be the new normal for schooling, going to restaurants, or anywhere that people gather in close proximity. But, this wouldn’t have been necessary had Dump and the Repubs gotten onto Covid 19 when the numbers were so small. But, when we had only 14 cases, Dump was worried that letting in the passengers of an infected cruise ship would seriously raise up our numbers. He further thought, with the numbers so small, we’d be able to lick this thing in a month or two. WRONG! Viruses that we have no defense against don’t work like that. We needed to shut down then while it was limited to the NW so we would be able to be normal by now. But, no, the unscientific Dump thought low numbers meant no problem. When it did develop into something serious, his worry was for the stock market, not the lives of those that were affected.
All of this, and much more, is the result of having a science denier in the WH. The truth-attacker-in-chief has been downplaying facts and science to promote his own “truth” and put him in the center of all attention for his own advantage, irregardless of the needs of the nation. Because of Dump’s personality dysfunction, we’re not seeing a time of normalcy, but 90K+ deaths with close to 150K deaths, maybe more, expected by election day.
Voters must be careful who they cast their ballots for in the future. Looking beyond the immediate surface details is a necessary component in picking the right individual to represent our ideals.
Reminds me my brothers and I used to play tag with BB guns. Never shot any eyes out, but you knew when you were tagged. The movie “Christmas Story” gave the Red Ryder a bad rap.

Its so amusing how the Trump admin let the virus spread without testing.
Trump flies PPE to Russia and China but American medical teams go without.

Lisa, that’s the cool thing about America, you don’t have to send your kid to public school. Educate her yourself.
But if you do send her to our school, with other people’s children at risk, you will indeed follow whatever rules we make to keep them safe.
What are you suggesting we do, Lisa? Let children die, so that they can play tag?

American education was already biased towards those that have.. COVID-19 aware classes will only further this division.

At least the kids are following the rules by social distancing and wearing masks… unlike the petulant child…
